Ata-Bexar Co. Line VFD proudly protects over 4000 people living in an area of 45 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. We provide Fire, Search and Rescue, EMS First Response, HAZMAT, Swift Water Rescue, High Angle Rescue, and Public Fire Education to the counties of Bexar and northern Atascosa. We are members of the Bexar County First Responders network, created mainly to provide medically certified First Responders at the BLS and ALS levels  that will provide care until the ambulance arrives. We also have a mutual aid agreement with all other departments in both counties to provide mutual aid if needed in any type of emergency.
